October 4, 2024- East Tennessee drivers and those passing through now have more electric vehicle (EV) charging options. KUB installed two public EV fast charging stations – one in Downtown Knoxville and one in Seymour. These locations fill key alternative fuel corridor gaps on I-75 and Route 441.

September 19, 2024- On September 19, SVEC announced that it has installed two fast chargers at The Food City in Kimball at 570 Main St. as part of Fast Charge TN, a partnership between the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA), the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation (TDEC), and Seven States Power Corporation.

September 12, 2024- Through a partnership with the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA), TDEC, the Benton County Electric System, Country & Western and Seven States Power Corporation, BCES has brought two EV charging stations to Benton County.

June 28, 2024- Huntsville Utilities, The City of Huntsville, Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA), Seven States Power Corporation, and ChargePoint/Owl Services will hold a ribbon cutting for a new electric vehicle DC fast charger facility (DCFC) in the Publix parking garage at Twickenham Square (310 Pelham Avenue).

June 12, 2024-It was a time of celebration Wednesday morning as Fayetteville Public Utilities (FPU) officially cut the ribbon on its electric vehicle (EV) charging stations. Representatives from FPU, the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) and Seven States Power Corporation along with state and local officials gathered at 110 College Street West in downtown Fayetteville to celebrate the installation of 2 EV fast chargers.

May 16, 2024-Decatur Utilities, in partnership with TVA, the Alabama Department of Economic and Community Affairs (ADECA), City of Decatur and Seven States Power Corporation, is excited to announce the installation of two Level 3 Fast Electric Vehicle charging stations in the parking lot off Holly St. located between the Princess Theatre and the Cook Museum of Natural History.

May 9, 2024- BrightRidge, the City of Johnson City, the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation, and The Tennessee Valley Authority celebrated an important milestone for electric vehicle adoption in the region with a ribbon-cutting of the first public Level 3 EV fast charger site in Johnson City and Washington County.

April 25, 2024- The City of Springfield gathered with the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation (TDEC), the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA), and Seven States Power Corporation on Thursday, April 25, for the grand opening of a new electric vehicle (EV) fast charging station located at City Hall, 405 North Main Street.

October 5, 2023- The Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation today announced that two solar-powered, non-grid-tied charging stations, donated by TVA, are now available for EV drivers to utilize free-of-charge at Pogue Creek Canyon’s Astronomy Field and the Window Cliffs State Natural Area trailhead.
